Win a Beautiful P.R.E. Horse! In the “I love Pure Spanish Horses” Contests

The Foundation is sponsoring two contests for 2010 where your talents and your love of the P.R.E. Horse can be recognized: a Video Contest, and an Essay Contest.

Both contest deadlines are October 31, 2010. The Pure Spanish Horse should be the focus of the subject matter.

 

Essay Contest: The Grand Prize Winner will win a Pure Spanish Horse!

Rules: The essay must be the entrant’s own work and must attest to the fact on the entry form. If a minor, the entry form must state the age and attest to same. The essay must be about the Pure Spanish Horse.

Deadline for entries is October 31, 2010. All entries must be postmarked no later than October 31, 2010, in order to be accepted. Entries will not be accepted after that date. Entries will not be returned. They become the property of The Foundation and may be reproduced in any manner by The Foundation for publication, promotion, display or distribution. The essays that are received become a permanent part of the Museum of the Pure Spanish Horse.

You may submit as many essays as you like; however, a separate entry form must be completed and sent with each essay.

Essays will be judged on creativity, originality, and how well the writer expresses the character and nature of the P.R.E. Judging will take place at The Foundation and winners will be notified no later than November 15, 2010. The winner’s name and their entry will be placed on The Foundation’s website.

Word count not to exceed 3,000 words.

Essay must be presented as a Word document if emailed. If mailed to The Foundation office, the entry may be in your own handwriting (if neat and legible), as an illuminated text, or however you wish to present it. The essay need not be bound.

There is an entry fee of $15 per entry for Foundation Members and their immediate families and $30 per entry for non-members.

 

Video Contest: The Grand Prize Winner will be awarded “The Whinny” (like the Oscar only better)!

Rules: The video must be the entrant’s own work and must attest to the fact on the entry form. If a minor, the entry form must state the age and attest to same.

The video must be about the Pure Spanish Horse.
