Alamo, Club of the Year

At the AHA Annual Convention, held in Reno, NV, November 18-22, 2009, Alamo AHA was named AHA Club of the Year for overall excellence across four categories; Breed Promotion/Community Involvement, Membership Recruitment or Retention, Communication and Club Projects. Alamo also won the individual Excellence Award for Communication. The very busy San Antonio-area club was also nominated in the Club Projects division, along with neighboring club, Gulf Coast Arabian Horse Club of the Houston area. Region 9 congratulates both clubs for what they do to promote the Arabian.
