2010 Spring Derby
The Connecticut River Arabian Association (CRAA) proudly announces the return of the Spring Derby! Returning the to the Three County Fairgrounds in Northampton, MA, from April 30 – May 2 will be the Spring Derby Premiere Sport Horse Show and IFSHA Region 1 Champion Friesian Show.
For Arabian and Half-Arabian owners there will be a full complement of sport horse in hand, sport horse under saddle, carriage driving, dressage and working hunter divisions. There will also be an open dressage show and an open hunter show, giving everyone ample opportunity to show off their skills.
Show chairman Tasha Scalzo is working hard to ensure that everyone has a good time at the show as well. On Saturday evening there will be a potluck dinner after the last class featuring Johnny’s Bar Mitzvah. Danielle DiDonato-Barasso’s DD Performance Horses is sponsoring the move-in pizza party on friday. There will also be demonstrations featuring Arabians and Friesians, as well as, a gift basket silent auction.
