Hays Claims Gold in Marshall & Sterling/USEF Pony Medal Final to Complete 2017 USEF Pony Finals

A week of competition at the 2017 USEF Pony Finals presented by Collecting Gaits Farm came to a close Sunday with the most coveted award of the championship. The Marshall & Sterling/USEF Pony Medal Final took place in the Alltech Arena with 162 riders vying for top honors in front of judges Rachel Kennedy and James Toon. Following excellent performances throughout the day, Ada Catherine Hays earned the Marshall & Sterling/USEF Pony Medal Final title. 

Childs Play Hot Topic Earns Large Regular Hunter Pony Championship; Captain Crunch Claims Small Green Hunter Pony Championship Title at the 2017 USEF Pony Finals

The first championship titles of the USEF Pony Hunter National Championship were claimed Wednesday as the Large Regular Hunter Ponies presented by Triple Crown Feed and the Small Green Hunter Ponies completed their final phases of competition in the 2017 USEF Pony Finals presented by Collecting Gaits Farm at the Kentucky Horse Park.

The 2017 USEF Pony Finals presented by Collecting Gaits Farm got underway on Tuesday with the Large Regular Hunter Pony and the Small Green Hunter Pony Model and Under Saddle phases. Currently, Claire Campbell and Brighton hold the early lead in the Large Regular Hunter Pony Championship presented by Triple Crown and Evelyn Walker and Captain Crunch lead in the Small Green Hunter Pony Championship.
